Eight sliding bone tablets project from the sides, each hand-painted with a different insect including a ladybug, beetles, a fly, a grasshopper, and a butterfly. The tablets slide up and down to track game scoring. The reverse shows a remnant of old tape. The piece shows surface scratching and minor wear to the wood, with some age-related toning to the bone tablets.","brand":"Granite Union Auction Company","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54195703578913,"sku":"20261112-LOT005","price":999999.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0073\/9101\/9067\/files\/20261112-027-001.jpg?v=1793157924","url":"https:\/\/graniteunionauction.com\/products\/antique-japanese-shibayama-style-inlaid-wood-whist-marker-with-hand-painted-insect-tablets-and-iris-inlay-20261112","provider":"Granite Union Auction Company","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
