Also present are official U.S. Marine Corps documents from the Assistant Adjutant and Inspector's Office in Manila, Philippine Islands, dated June 1905 and signed by Major Rufus H. Lane. Later correspondence is addressed to First Lieutenant Wm. A. Howard, U.S.M.C., at 1769 Columbia Road, Washington, D.C. The lot includes mourning-bordered envelopes, typed military documents, and additional ephemera. The archive is unsearched and offered as found.
