Antique photoplay edition of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass" by Lewis Carroll, containing both stories complete in one volume. Published by Grosset & Dunlap, New York, circa 1915. The book is illustrated with photographic stills from the silent film produced and copyrighted by The Nonpareil Feature Film Corporation, first shown before an invited audience at the Strand Theatre, New York. The cast page lists Viola Savoy as Alice, Herbert Rice as W. Rabbit, William Tilden as the Mad Hatter, Louis Merkle as the Dormouse, and Harry Marks as the Dodo Bird, directed by W.W. Young and picturized by DeWitt C. Wheeler.
The cloth binding features a color pictorial cover with blue lettering, depicting Alice, the White Rabbit, the King, and the Queen of Hearts against a black-and-white checkerboard background.
Foxing is present across the front and rear covers and along the spine. Interior pages show toning consistent with age.
