Antique bronze-patinated plaster bust of Princess Alexandra of Denmark, after the model by Mary Thornycroft, published by W.T. Copeland for the Art Union of London in 1863. The front of the self-base is inscribed "Art Union of London" with "Alexandra" on the socle. The reverse is inscribed "Mary Thornycroft F. Sc 1863" on the base rim, with "Copeland" in cursive script and "Pub- June 1 1863" on the socle.

The bust exhibits surface cracking throughout, with prominent vertical cracks running along both sides of the head, neck, and shoulder areas. Evidence of prior glue repairs is visible at several crack junctions and along the base. Areas of patination loss expose the white plaster substrate beneath, particularly at high points and along crack lines.
