Antique framed print after the painting by Danish artist Laurits Tuxen (1853–1927), depicting a lifeboat crew rowing through heavy surf toward a distressed sailing vessel. Originally issued as an art supplement ("Kunstbilag") to the Norwegian illustrated weekly magazine "Illustreret Familieblad" no. 53, printed by C. Andersen's Bogtrykkeri, Horten, Norway. This copy does not retain the printed inscription found on other known examples. Housed in a wood frame. The print shows toning and some foxing.
