Lot 085 - Antique G. W. Banker Boxed Demijohn with Glass Bottle, Patented 1862, 225 Pearl Street, New York, 17-1/8" H
Antique wooden boxed demijohn by G. W. Banker, 225 Pearl Street, New York. The front is stenciled "Boxed Demijohn" with patent date August 12, 1862, and dated 1872. The bottle-shaped wooden case retains its metal cover at the top and wire carry handle, with the glass demijohn bottle still housed inside. Condition shows heavy wear, surface grime, and general roughness throughout consistent with age and use.
