Lot 107 - Antique Hand-Painted and Lithographed General Store Coffee Bin with Japanesque Portrait of a Woman with Bird, 19-1/4" H
Antique tin lithograph general store coffee bin with a hinged slant lid and a pull-out dispensing drawer at the base. The front panel features a hand-painted oval portrait of a woman in Japanesque dress holding a fan, with a bird perched beside her. "Coffee" is lettered across the cylindrical roll above the front panel. The dispensing drawer front has a decorative scrollwork pattern on a light blue-green ground with a ring pull handle.
The bin shows heavy wear throughout, with significant graphic loss and oxidation to the lid and upper roll, scratching and wear to the sides, and general age-related patina. The front portrait panel retains much of its imagery. The lid, hinges, and dispensing drawer are intact and functional.
Dimensions: 12-1/2" L x 16" W x 19-1/4" H
