Absentee bids let you place your maximum bid on an item before the live auction begins. During the live show, we’ll continue bidding on your behalf up to your max bid — just like leaving a bid with a traditional auctioneer.
When you place an absentee bid, the system sets the current bid conservatively — just enough to keep you in the lead without revealing your full amount.
The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.
Because absentee bids can arrive seconds apart, the current bid you see may not always include bids still being processed. Refresh the page for the most up-to-date information.

Antique homemade snapshot photo album and scrapbook titled the "Kewpie Book," belonging to Johanna Cecile Powell and bound with string, featuring a hand-painted cover depicting Rose O’Neill-style Kewpies. Compiled circa 1917–1920 at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, the album contains handwritten notes, photographs, and mementos from friends, many referencing the “Kewpie Klub” and inside jokes involving goats and Kewpies. Includes a humorous certificate headed “K.K.” certifying Johanna as a member of the Kewpie Klub by election of its members at Stetson, signed by Helen Blanche Walters, President. Additional contents include a calling card from John Carey Westall inscribed “for the sweetest most thoughtful girl in this world,” snapshots of soldiers and American flags, and a note addressed “to our most original little Kewpie sister.” Pages exhibit light wear, some loosening, and minor separation, consistent with age and handling.
