This is a police arrest card featuring a mounted photograph depicting Arthur V. Gibson in profile and frontal views. The card includes printed and handwritten information from the Massachusetts Reformatory, Concord, Massachusetts, registration number 7112. Gibson was arrested for larceny out of Suffolk County and received an indeterminate sentence. His occupation is listed as box maker, descent as American, and age as 19 years. The reverse of the card records marks, scars, and moles in detail, including a brown birth mark above the mouth and multiple scars on the hands and forearms. Measured at Concord, March 22, 1898. Photograph and card show age toning, edge wear, and surface marks consistent with age and handling.
