Absentee bids let you place your maximum bid on an item before the live auction begins. During the live show, we’ll continue bidding on your behalf up to your max bid — just like leaving a bid with a traditional auctioneer.
When you place an absentee bid, the system sets the current bid conservatively — just enough to keep you in the lead without revealing your full amount.
The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.
Because absentee bids can arrive seconds apart, the current bid you see may not always include bids still being processed. Refresh the page for the most up-to-date information.

Lot 096 - Antique Snapshot Album, Circa 1915-1920, 75+ Photographs with Handwritten Captions Including Horses, Farm Animals, Horse-Drawn Carts, Early Automobiles, Hunting Scenes, and Sailor with Eyeglass
An antique snapshot photograph album containing upward of 75 photographs dating to approximately 1915-1920, with handwritten white captions throughout identifying subjects and scenes. The album documents farm and rural life with an emphasis on animals, including multiple photographs of horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, and cats, as well as horse-drawn carts and early automobiles.
Notable individual images include a sailor posed with an eyeglass, a doghouse mounted on a wagon with a dog inside and child seated on top, and a hunting series including a photograph of a young girl holding a rifle alongside a dead raccoon, captioned "The Young Hunter." Additional scenes include hunting subjects across multiple images.
Condition of individual photographs varies throughout the album; the album binding and covers show wear consistent with age.
