Absentee bids let you place your maximum bid on an item before the live auction begins. During the live show, we’ll continue bidding on your behalf up to your max bid — just like leaving a bid with a traditional auctioneer.
When you place an absentee bid, the system sets the current bid conservatively — just enough to keep you in the lead without revealing your full amount.
The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.
Because absentee bids can arrive seconds apart, the current bid you see may not always include bids still being processed. Refresh the page for the most up-to-date information.

Lot 067 - Antique Tall Case Clock-Form Pocket Watch Holder with Moon Phase Dial Face and Partial Maker's Label, Note Poor Condition, 14" H
Antique pocket watch holder constructed in the form of a miniature tall case clock, with an arched bonnet, twisted column details at the hood, a raised panel trunk door, and a stepped base on four feet. The dial face is fitted with a printed paper moon phase arch depicting a smiling sun face flanked by celestial globes on a blue ground, with compass rose and star-burst decorations to the lower dial quadrants. A circular glass lens is set into the dial opening to receive the pocket watch. A partial paper maker's label affixed to the rear reads "[Ma]nufacture[d by] C. Bro[...], [...], Ma[ssachusetts], [...th, 18]94," with portions lost to tearing.
Condition is poor, as noted. Wood detailing is missing at multiple points throughout the case, with visible glue marks and loose components. Two of the four rear feet are absent, causing the piece to sit tilted. Additional surface scratches, losses to the finish, and wear are present throughout.
