When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.

Lot 163 - Antique Victorian Scrapbook with Die-Cut Scraps, Wrightline Reverse Twist Poultry Netting Advertising, and Cigar Box Labels Including Red Tips, Crane's Imported, White Orchid, Royal Banner, and Manila Stubs
Antique Victorian scrapbook with assorted ephemera and cigar box labels offered as a single lot. The scrapbook has a red embossed cover and contains very few chromolithograph die-cut scraps, including floral sprays, strawberries, children in a rowboat, and a large die-cut butterfly marked "Compliments of H. O'Neill & Co., Sixth Ave. cor. 20th Street, N.Y." The butterfly flips to reveal advertising text on the reverse. Two Wrightline Reverse Twist poultry netting advertising prints are laid in, each depicting a rooster on a stone wall with signage reading "Poultry Netting Stretches Straight, Made by G.F. Wright Steel & Wire Co., Worcester, Mass."
A group of unused cigar box labels is also included, with multiple examples of several brands: Red Tips with a horsehead and horseshoe graphic, Crane's Imported with a crane trademark, White Orchid, Apter's Don-Remo, Blue Ribbon "For Men Who Know," Royal Banner by Jackman Cigar Mfg. Co. of Detroit, Michigan, and Manila Stubs by Jackman Cigar Mfg. Co.
The scrapbook shows heavy wear with a deteriorated spine, loose pages, and edge losses throughout. The Wrightline prints have edge wear, creasing, and tears. The cigar box labels are in clean condition. Offered as found.
