Antique Victorian scrapbook album with a red cloth-covered cover titled "Scraps" in gilt lettering with a central blue and gilt rosette medallion. The album contains over 100 pieces including chromolithograph trade cards, die-cut scraps, holiday greeting cards, floral prints, and advertising prints. Subjects include children, cats, horses, rabbits, flowers, and winter scenes. Notable pieces include a Hires Root Beer advertising trade card by C. E. Hires of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a "See My Kitty?" chromolithograph print by The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. of New York, and multiple cards by Raphael Tuck & Sons with Christmas and New Year greetings. Additional trade cards bear merchant imprints including Atwood's Outfitting Emporium and D. Palmer, Salesman. Die-cut scraps of children's faces, horse heads, and floral subjects are mounted throughout. Easter-themed chromolithograph prints depicting children with rabbits and colored eggs are also present.

The album covers show heavy wear with significant edge losses and tearing to the board edges, exposed spine, and split binding. Interior pages have edge chipping, tears, creasing, and foxing throughout. Individual cards and scraps vary in condition with some showing staining and adhesive residue.
