Antique WWI trench art vase fashioned from a French 75mm brass artillery shell casing. The upper body features repousse decoration with roses, oak leaves with acorns, and the Y.M.C.A. triangle insignia, all set against a stippled background. The text "Souvenir from Argonne Forest" is worked around the circumference. A scalloped border separates the decorated upper section from the fluted lower body. The rim band is decorated with a hammered pattern. The base headstamp is stamped "75 DEC" with additional markings including "BU P 700," "L 16 SD," and "DB," indicating 1916 manufacture.

The vase has cracks running through the upper body. Overall patina, verdigris, and surface oxidation consistent with age.
