Grouping of 10 antique unframed watercolor paintings on paper by H. Wilder, depicting floral and still life subjects. The paintings include bouquets of roses with a pansy and with ferns and geraniums, a potted hyacinth, a fruit compote in a pedestal bowl, cherries on a branch, autumn leaf studies, and a yellow rose, among others.
Several paintings are signed "H. Wilder" in pencil. Visible dates include April 27th, 1863; December 2, 1882; and May 2 of an additional year. One leaf study is inscribed "First Lesson" in pencil at the lower left.
The paintings show toning, foxing spots, and edge wear consistent with age. Some sheets have soft creasing and minor surface soiling.
