Grouping of over 40 antique photographs, predominantly cartes de visite (C.D.V.) with three tintype photographs and several smaller board-mounted photographs. Represented photographers include Fenwick of Bloomington, Illinois and J.H. Lucas, proprietor of the New York Gallery at 67½ Wabasha Street, St. Paul, Minnesota. Subjects include portraits of women, children, and other figures. The verso of the Lucas C.D.V. features a printed blue illustration of a woman. The tintypes depict young children and show surface wear including scratching and emulsion loss. General wear, toning, and soiling throughout the group consistent with age.
