- When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.
- Because absentee bids can arrive seconds apart, the current bid you see may not always include bids still being processed. Refresh the page for the most up-to-date information.

Lot 049 - Grouping of Antique U.S. Navy Officer Uniform Remnants and Veteran Organization Medals Including Shoulder Boards, Scoville Buttons, G.A.R. 32nd National Encampment 1898 Souvenir Badge, and Naval Veterans Boston 1904 Convention Medal
Two veteran organization medals are included. The first is a Grand Army of the Republic souvenir badge from the 32nd National Encampment held in Cincinnati, Ohio, September 5-10, 1898, in a five-pointed star form with a central medallion depicting figures beneath the text "Grand Army of the Republic" and "Veteran 1861-1865." The top bar reads "Souvenir" with "Queen of the West" imagery. The reverse is marked "Official Souvenir" and "Schwaab S. & S. Co. Milwaukee, Wis." with "Pat. Applied For." The second is a National Convention medal from Boston, 1904, with a top bar depicting a building, a yellow silk ribbon printed "N.V.," and a hanging pendant with an anchor motif.
All items show significant age-related wear. The shoulder boards exhibit fraying and soiling, the gold bullion braid is heavily deteriorated with loose threads and tarnish, and the medals show surface oxidation. Offered as found in the original deteriorated box.

- Handicap parking is in the lot and behind the building.
- The other spaces in the lot are first come, first served — but please leave them free for loading and unloading where you can.
- There is plenty of on-street parking, both sides of the street.
