Six antique military portrait photographs in mixed formats depicting uniformed soldiers from the United States and Imperial Russia.

The grouping includes a C.D.V. portrait of Colonel James Fisk Jr. in full dress uniform with epaulettes, a plumed shako, and sword; a cabinet card photograph of a young man in military uniform, photographed by Readman, Gazette Building, Norwalk, Connecticut; a cabinet card photograph of three Imperial Russian soldiers in dark uniforms with medals and peaked caps, photographed by F. Waltz ("Ф. Вальцъ"), Ostroleka ("Остроленка"), with a branch in Komorow — the reverse bearing an illustrated studio advertisement in Russian and Polish; a real photo postcard (RPPC) of an Imperial Russian soldier in uniform holding a rifle, posed before a painted studio backdrop; a board-mounted photograph of a uniformed soldier standing outdoors in snow; and a foldered cabinet card photograph of a young American soldier in WWI-era uniform with crossed-cannon insignia on his cap, photographed by Holladay, 2602 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia.
