Lot 060 - Pair of Antique Price Tag Number Sets in Wooden Storage Boxes, Patented July 1920
Pair of antique price tag number sets housed in wooden storage boxes with divided compartments. The rectangular boxes feature dovetailed construction and one includes a sliding lid. Each box contains individual slots designed to organize numbered price tags. The price tags display bold red numerals on white card stock, marked "Patented July 1920" at the bottom. The smaller box contains at least one of each number. The larger box contains at least one of each number except for the number one, which is absent. Red printed text appears on the exterior of the boxes, though the company name is not fully legible. The wooden boxes show surface wear and age-related patina. Some price tags exhibit light soiling and edge wear consistent with commercial use.
