Two turned wood items consisting of a folk art miniature butter churn with dasher and a mortar and pestle. The miniature butter churn is attributed as prisoner-made in Maine, possibly Buckfield, with a partial paper label on the bottom bearing losses. The churn retains its lid and dasher handle. The mortar has a footed base with incised ring decoration, and the pestle has a bulbous form. Both items show general surface wear consistent with age and handling.
