Antique "New Library Edition" of Francis Parkman’s classic account of frontier exploration, *The Oregon Trail: Sketches of Prairie and Rocky-Mountain Life*, published by Little, Brown, and Company, Boston, 1911. Includes a frontispiece illustration titled “Half sliding, half plunging, down went the little mare,” drawn by Frederic Remington in 1897. Deckled page edges with gilt top foredge. Wear to corners, edges of covers, and spine, including one spot of exposed white paper beneath the worn spine covering. Most of the gilt text and design on the spine is rubbed away.

- The other spaces in the lot are first come, first served — but please leave them free for loading and unloading where you can.
