Trio of antique hardcover "Dickens' Works" volumes by Charles Dickens, published by Porter & Coates, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Each volume contains multiple works with frontispiece illustrations. The first volume contains "The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club," "Christmas Stories," and "The Uncommercial Traveller." The second contains "Bleak House" and "Martin Chuzzlewit." The third contains "A Tale of Two Cities," "Great Expectations," "Edwin Drood," and "Sketches." The volumes are bound in matching cloth covers with gilt and black decorative designs and lettered spines. Pencil inscriptions are present on the endpapers of one volume.

All three volumes are in poor condition with heavily worn and fraying cloth at the spine ends and corners, split hinges, and detached or detaching text blocks from the covers.
