Trio of antique wooden advertising containers. The staved bucket has metal bands, a bail handle, and a diamond-shaped brass plaque marked "50" and reading "We Warrant Superior Whiteness, Fineness, and Absolute Purity in Our Brand of Strictly Pure White Lead and Will Pay Fifty Dollars for Every Ounce of Adulteration Found in This Package," signed "F.W. Devoe & Co." The lidded barrel is stenciled "California / Sweet Spiced / Kadota Figs / 5 Lbs. Net / Hamilton's" with metal bands and a wooden plug lid. The third is a Briggs Smoking Tobacco barrel with a fitted wooden lid, stamped "Briggs / Smoking Tobacco" and "When a Feller Needs a Friend."

All three show general wear, surface patina, and aging consistent with age and use. The white lead bucket is missing its lid.
