Lot 127 - Trio of Vintage Figural Face Ceramics Including Brown Glazed Smiley Mug, Anthropomorphic Tomato Jug with Lid, and Czechoslovakia Porcelanit Smiling Face Mug
Three figural ceramic pieces, each molded with a smiling anthropomorphic face. The group includes a brown-glazed smiley face mug with an open handle, an anthropomorphic tomato-form jug with a green neck, matching lid, and twig-shaped handle, and a round smiling face mug with painted blue eyes and orange-red accents.
The smiling face mug is stamped on the underside with a Porcelanit mark reading "Made in Czechoslovakia" and "Patent A.M. 33118," with the painted number 3474/28. The tomato jug has no visible markings on the base. The brown mug is unmarked.
The Czechoslovakia mug has extensive cracks throughout the body, rim, and handle, with visible poor-quality repairs. The tomato jug shows crazing and scattered paint loss. The brown glazed mug is in the best overall condition of the three, with minor surface wear.
