Lot 013 - Two Pairs of Antique Open Salt Cellars with Glass Inserts in Rococo and Neoclassical Styles, Note Chips to All Four Glass Inserts
Two pairs of antique open salt cellars with glass inserts. One pair features a neoclassical pierced slatted body with ribbon bow and cartouche motifs, raised on footed bases with smooth-rim oval glass inserts. This pair is marked 800 silver. The other pair features repousse rococo scroll and acanthus leaf decoration on bulbous bodies raised on scroll feet with scalloped-edge glass inserts. The rococo pair is unmarked and may be 800 silver or silver plate.
The listed weight is for the metal components only and does not include the glass inserts.
All four glass inserts have chips.
This lot is guaranteed to meet or exceed the stated purity for the marked 800 silver neoclassical pair only. If it does not, the buyer is entitled to a full refund upon return of the merchandise.
