When you place an absentee bid, the system sets the current bid conservatively — just enough to keep you in the lead without revealing your full amount.
The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.

Lot 058 - Vintage HAV-A-TAMPA 10 Cent Cigar Box Filled with Skeleton Keys, Tampa, Florida, As Found
This vintage HAV-A-TAMPA cigar box contains a collection of skeleton keys. The box features colorful lithographed graphics on the lid depicting a woman in period dress standing within ornate lettering, with "10c" pricing marks flanking the design. Text on the box reads "HAV-A-TAMPA CIGAR" and "TAMPA, FLORIDA" with "10c. HAV-A-TAMPA FANCY'S EXTRA 10c." printed on the sides.
The wooden box is filled with various skeleton keys in different sizes and styles, including barrel keys, bit keys, and other vintage key types. Some keys retain paper tags with handwritten notations.
The box shows age-related wear including staining, paper loss to the lithographed surfaces, edge wear, and general patina consistent with vintage storage use. The keys display varying degrees of rust and patina. Offered as found.
