The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.

Lot 005 - Vintage Shrunken Head Gaff Tourist Souvenir, Sculpted from Animal Hide, 3-3/4" H
Vintage shrunken head gaff constructed from animal hide, made as a tourist souvenir item. The head is sculpted with modeled facial features including a nose, lips, brow ridges, and ears, with sparse hair remaining at the temples, chin, and crown. The back of the head shows a vertical seam of gathered and folded hide stitched together along the centerline. This is not an authentic tsantsa but a novelty item. The hide is dried and rigid with an overall tan and brown tone, showing age-related discoloration, small puncture losses near the right eye and lower lip area, and general surface wear consistent with age and handling.
