When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.

Vintage U.S. Government ship's clock in a brass case, manufactured by Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Massachusetts. The silvered dial is marked "Chelsea Clock Co. / Boston" above center and "U.S. Government / Ser. No." below center, with Arabic numerals and a seconds track. The case features a hinged bezel with glass crystal and a winding aperture on the side. Serial number 599500 is stamped on the back of the case. A retailer label on the lower back reads "The Clock Shop / Springfield, Mass." A winding key is included.
The clock is running but functionality is not guaranteed. The brass case shows overall tarnish, oxidation, and patina. The dial shows toning and discoloration. The wire display stand shown in photographs is not included.
