A wartime-era Finnish puukko knife with a stacked birch bark handle and a pressed paper sheath. Manufactured by Jarvenpaa. The sheath is constructed of pressed paper rather than leather, consistent with material shortages during the Finnish war period. The handle features stacked birch bark rings between metal fittings at the pommel and bolster, with a leather lanyard loop at the pommel end. The blade is a traditional puukko profile with a single bevel edge.

The birch bark handle shows areas of wear and loss, with underlying adhesive and green-tinted material visible in several spots. The pressed paper sheath shows heavy wear, creasing, and surface soiling. The blade has patina and minor surface oxidation.
