Lot 137 - Antique Board-Mounted Photograph Of A Group Of Children With American Flags Posed Around A Wooden Structure Outdoors
Antique board-mounted photograph depicting a group of approximately 16 children and young people posed outdoors around a makeshift wooden structure assembled from boards and sawhorses. Several of the children hold small American flags, and some of the boys wear sailor-style suits. A young girl is seated at the base of the structure at center, also holding a flag. Bare trees and houses are visible in the background, with a picket fence at right. The photograph is mounted on a cream-colored board with an embossed stepped border, affixed to a larger tan card.
The photograph shows light fading. The outer mount exhibits creasing, soiling, and corner losses. The stand visible in the photograph is not included.
