Facsimile edition of The New-England Courant, originally published February 4–11, 1723. This reproduction was printed on September 17, 1856, noted as being produced on a press once used by Benjamin Franklin. The New-England Courant was the newspaper founded by Franklin’s brother James, and where young Benjamin Franklin first published essays as “Silence Dogood.” An important commemorative piece of American printing history.

Condition is fair, with folds, creases, tears, and edge wear consistent with age.
