Antique late 19th-century Japanese tin tea canister with intricate multi-panel lithographed decoration in deep red and black tones. Each side depicts a different scene, including a woman in traditional dress holding a parasol and fan, a man lighting a lamp at a table, an obelisk monument surrounded by figures, and a crane amid reeds and clouds. The top features a domed lid with decorative border pattern, and the base retains its original tin patina. Moderate oxidation, fading, and surface wear consistent with age, contributing to an appealing antique character. Meiji-era export tinwork blending Japanese artistry with Western decorative influences.
