Absentee bids let you place your maximum bid on an item before the live auction begins. During the live show, we’ll continue bidding on your behalf up to your max bid — just like leaving a bid with a traditional auctioneer.
When you place an absentee bid, the system sets the current bid conservatively — just enough to keep you in the lead without revealing your full amount.
The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.
Because absentee bids can arrive seconds apart, the current bid you see may not always include bids still being processed. Refresh the page for the most up-to-date information.

Lot 077 - Antique Porcelain 1910 Calendar Plate with Cherubs, New Year Bell, and Hourglass Motif, Note Chip to Lower Center Rim, 8-3/8" W
Antique porcelain calendar plate for the year 1910, featuring a scalloped rim with a mottled tan glaze border. The well of the plate is decorated with 12 monthly calendar panels arranged around the rim, each printed in green and labeled with the month and year, separated by polychrome floral sprigs with blue forget-me-nots and gilt ribbon accents. The central medallion depicts two winged cherubs flanking a large bell inscribed "Ye 1910 New Year," with an hourglass below inscribed "Ye Old Year," set within a gilt rococo cartouche against a blue sky ground. A gilt banded border rings the central scene.
Condition shows a chip to the lower center rim, as noted, along with wear to the glaze border consistent with age. The display stand shown is not included.
