An antique porcelain vase of tapering cylindrical form raised on three gilt cabriole legs. The exterior is glazed in a deep cobalt blue ground and decorated with elaborate gilt scrollwork, foliate arabesques, and a central oval portrait medallion depicting a young woman in profile, wearing a floral wreath and blue ribbon in her hair, dressed in a pink and yellow drape. The medallion is set against a gilt crosshatch ground and framed by a gilt dentil border. The rim is banded with a multicolor enamel floral and leaf pattern in red, green, and blue on a gilt ground. The base is unglazed white at center with the blue glaze extending to the underside.

The three gilt legs show significant wear and loss to the gilt surface, with white bisque exposed at the high points. A crack runs around the full circumference of the vase at the base, which has been repaired at some point with adhesive; the repair is visible and uneven. Additional minor surface wear and scattered small losses to the blue ground are present.
