Lot 026 - Antique Pyrography Wood Plaque, Portrait Of A Native American Figure In War Bonnet, Chip-Carved Border, 13-3/8" x 13-1/8"
An antique circular pyrography plaque executed on a round wood disk, depicting a profile bust portrait of a Native American figure wearing a full feathered war bonnet. The central image is contained within a burned circular border, and the outer edge of the plaque is finished with a chip-carved notched border. The wood surface retains an amber-toned finish.
Condition includes surface scratches, wear to the burned design in areas, and minor handling marks consistent with age.
