This is a police arrest card featuring a mounted photograph depicting Cornelius E. Murphy in profile and frontal views. The card includes printed and handwritten information from the Massachusetts Reformatory, Concord, Massachusetts, registration number 4049. Murphy was arrested for larceny out of Suffolk County and received an indeterminate sentence. His occupation is listed as clerk, descent as Irish, and age as 19 years, born in Massachusetts. Descriptive details record orange eyes, medium chestnut hair, and sallow complexion. The reverse of the card records marks, scars, and moles including scars on the hands and a scar below the left corner of the mouth. Measured at Concord, June 3, 1892, by W.W. Blossom.
