This is a police arrest card featuring a mounted photograph depicting John Arsnow in profile and frontal views. The card includes printed and handwritten information from the Massachusetts Reformatory, Concord, Massachusetts, registration number 5121. Arsnow was arrested for larceny out of Plymouth County and received an indeterminate sentence. His occupation is listed as laborer, descent as Nova Scotia, and age as 19 years. The reverse of the card records an extensive list of marks, scars, and moles across both columns. Measured at Concord, November 7, 1892, by W.W. Blossom. Photograph and card show age toning, edge wear, and surface marks consistent with age and handling.
