This is a police arrest card featuring a mounted photograph depicting Samuel Huddell in frontal and profile views, with prisoner number 3626 visible on the photograph. The card includes Bertillon measurements and identifies Huddell as a "Yegg" in red ink. He is listed as age 50 years, born in Irish Canadian, with brown eyes, dark gray hair, brown moustache, sallow complexion, weight of 140 pounds, and slender build. The reverse bears printed headings for the Dover, New Hampshire Police Department, registration number 3626, with "Montreal, Canada" annotated above. Descent is listed as Irish Canadian, occupation as machinist, and criminal occupation as burglary. Huddell was arrested for burglary by Detectives McLaughlin and Crow on February 12, 1900. Marks, scars, and moles include a raised mole at the external angle of the right eyebrow, a mole at the root of the nose, and a raised mole on the left side of the nose above the nostril. Photograph and card show age toning, edge wear, and surface marks consistent with age and handling.
