The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.

Lot 149 - Antique S.S. White Dental Mfg. Co. Steel Tooth Die Set in Wooden Case with Indexed Chart, 17-1/7" L
Antique steel tooth die set in a hinged wooden case, manufactured by S.S. White Dental Mfg. Co. The set contains numerous individual steel dies shaped to replicate the occlusal surfaces of various tooth types, organized in numbered slots within a metal tray. The interior of the lid features a printed index chart with labeled columns identifying tooth positions including upper molar, lower first molar, lower central and lateral, upper and lower bicuspids, and upper third molar, among others. Each column displays photographic reference images of the corresponding die profiles. Several dies are missing from their numbered positions. The wooden case, metal tray, and dies show oxidation, patina, and general wear throughout. The printed chart has staining, losses, and areas of lifting.
