Lot 210 - Antique “The Patrician” Dressmakers Pins Box With Contents, Brass Rustproof Needle Points No. 16, Early 20th Century Sewing Notions Packaging, Original Cardboard Box With Wear
Antique early 20th century sewing notions box labeled “The Patrician Dressmakers Pins,” containing a quantity of mixed metal dressmaker and straight pins, including several with colored glass heads. The original cardboard box is printed in gilt lettering and marked “Brass – Rustproof, Needle Points, No. 16,” with a stated weight of 1/4 lb. The box shows general wear, edge rubbing, surface loss, and age-related softening, with some separation along the edges. Pins appear to be a mix of period and later examples, likely accumulated over time. Offered as found, with wear consistent with age and use.
