Antique trade card for Ammi Fike, Auctioneer and Veterinary Surgeon, Peabody, Kansas. The front features a full-length studio portrait photograph of a man in a suit with a large mustache. The reverse is printed with advertising text identifying Fike as a buyer and seller of driving and work horses, breeder of Poland China hogs and Buff Cochin chickens, and proprietor of Fike's Healing Liniment, Colic Cure, and Condition Powders. The text notes he commenced veterinary work in February 1882 and had conducted two thousand auction sales as of December 1902, with his office and laboratory located at his barn on the southwest corner of the city.

The card shows light soiling, minor edge wear, and some surface scuffing on the verso.
