Grouping of 15 vintage pencil gravestone rubbings by Houston E. Bird, created mid to late 20th century, depicting 17th- and 18th-century New England grave markers with motifs including skulls, angels, and cherubs. Identified names include Mary Rogers (died April 14, 1627, aged 35 years), Mrs. Mary Patten, John Rodgers (1636, aged 74 years), Patrick Fasset, and others. Executed on paper. Light wear and creasing consistent with age. Assorted sizes up to 17" x 13-3/4".
