A grouping of four vintage glass medical syringes, offered as medical oddities and not for use. Two are B-D Yale hypodermic syringes manufactured by Becton, Dickinson and Company, Rutherford, New Jersey, each retained in its original box: one is the No. 5Y model, graduated 1/5 cc, capacity 5 cc, with metal finger grips and a matching numbered barrel and plunger marked "W 4448"; the other is the No. 2Y model, graduated 1/10 cc and minims, capacity 2 cc, with the barrel marked "B-D Yale / Becton, Dickinson & Co." Both boxes are labeled "Resistance Glass" and "Made in U.S.A." The boxes show wear and staining; the syringes appear intact.

The third syringe is a 10 cc glass barrel syringe with a blue glass plunger, graduated in 2 cc increments to 10 cc, marked "Propper Mfg. Co." in script on the barrel, with a metal Luer tip fitting. The fourth is a B-D Yale Luer-Lok syringe with a glass barrel and metal Luer-Lok tip assembly and finger grips, graduated in minims, with red printed markings; this example shows heavy tarnishing and oxidation to the metal components.

Assorted sizes from 3-1/4" L to 5-1/8" L.
