Grouping of six antique real photo postcards (R.P.P.C.) in the exaggeration or "tall tale" genre, all photographed by W.H. Martin. Each card depicts photomontage compositions of impossibly oversized subjects in rural Midwestern settings. Captions include "Bringing in the Sheaves" with giant corn, cabbages, and pumpkins on a farmstead; "The largest ear of corn grown in Mo." with a massive ear of corn on a horse-drawn wagon; "When we go after anything in Missouri we get it" with automobiles lassoing a giant rabbit; "Watermelons grow big in Kans." with oversized watermelons on a cart; and "Our County Fair Contest on corn" with giant ears of corn at a county fair. Copyright dates of 1907 and 1908 are printed on the fronts. Published by The North American Post Card Co., Kansas City, U.S.A.

Cards have been postally used. One is postmarked Laddonia, August 29, 1910, addressed to Hannibal, Missouri. Another is postmarked Kansas City, November 2, 1909, addressed to Brainerd, Minnesota. Toning, corner wear, and edge wear are present across the group.
