When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.

Lot 217 - Pair Of Vintage And Antique Country Books Including "Historic Homes Of Cheshire County" And "Riley Farm-Rhymes"
Two hardcover books with country themes. First is "Historic Homes of Cheshire County, New Hampshire, Volume III" by Marjorie Whalen Smith, published by Griswold Offset Printing, Brattleboro, Vermont, documenting seventy-five historic homes from 1770 to 1870 in the Monadnock Region, illustrated with 105 photographs, with owner inscription dated 12/25/80. Second is "Riley Farm-Rhymes" by James Whitcomb Riley with country pictures by Will Vawter, published by The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Indianapolis, 1905, featuring red cloth cover with illustrated farmer in cornfield design, copyright dates ranging from 1883 to 1905, inscribed "Forest Myron Swisher from Camp Jessie, Dec 28, 1926." Both books exhibit moderate wear including edge damage, foxing, and spine separation.
