The volume contains records spanning 1699 to 1872 from the Brattle Square Church, also known as the Manifesto Church. Illustrations include a frontispiece depicting Brattle Square Church captioned "Dedicated 1773 / Demolished 1872" and a portrait plate of Peter Thacher.
Blue cloth binding with gilt-stamped spine lettering. The spine ends are frayed with cloth losses at the head and tail. Corners are bumped and worn through. Page edges show toning, and scattered foxing is present on interior pages.
