Antique reprint edition of “The Vision of Dante” by Dante Alighieri, part of the Everyman’s Library series, edited by Ernest Rhys. Subtitled “Poetry and the Drama,” this volume contains Dante’s Divine Comedy in three parts, with an introduction and notes by Edmund G. Gardner, M.A., along with a chronology of Dante’s life and an index. Published by J. M. Dent & Sons, Ltd., London, and E. P. Dutton & Co., New York, 1915. Gilt-decorated spine with floral and honeycomb motif, and debossed publisher’s square emblem on front cover. Split in binding at front and back endpapers, with rear cover and spine partially detached, and general wear to edges and spine consistent with age and handling.
