Vintage cast metal sculpture depicting a man wearing a wide-brimmed hat and long coat, rendered with expressive, hand-modeled texture. Likely cast in bronze or a bronze alloy from an original hand-sculpted clay or wax model, with the mold faithfully capturing the artist’s tool marks and surface detailing. Very heavy for its size and finished with a natural patina. The base is uneven and the figure does not stand on its own. Surface shows oxidation, verdigris, and minor casting irregularities consistent with age and handling. A striking, studio-style cast retaining the immediacy and tactile quality of the original sculpture. Maker and origin unknown.
