Three preserved butterfly specimens pinned in a Riker mount display case with cotton batting. The specimens include a Mourning Cloak (Nymphalis antiopa), a Monarch (Danaus plexippus), and a Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele). All three are displayed with wings spread in dorsal view. The specimens show some wear, with minor wing edge losses and fragmentation, most notably on the Mourning Cloak. One antenna is missing from the Fritillary.

The listed dimensions are of the riker case not including white outer box.
